Une fois par an, au printemps, pendant trois jours, les clans des Todas effectuaient, l'un après l'autre, une série de pèlerinages et gravissaient le pic Toddabet où se trouvent aujourd'hui les ruines du temple de la Vérité. Ils accomplissaient dans ce sanctuaire une sorte de pénitence publique et de confession mutuelle. Les Todas y tenaient conseil et avouaient réciproquement leurs péchés volontaires et involontaires. Toutes ces cérémonies particulières, ces rituels appartenant à une philosophie tenue manifestement secrète, incitent les êtres versés dans l'ancienne magie chaldéenne, égyptienne et même moyenâgeuse à penser que les Todas étaient instruits dans les sciences voilées primitives des Mystères.
Les Todas ignoraient toute expression rappelant simplement le monothéisme, le déisme, et ils ne pouvaient être pas davantage considérés comme des païens, car ils n'adoraient rien ni personne, hormis leurs propres buffles, et il faut insister sur « propres », car ils n'honoraient aucunement les buffles étrangers, des autres tribus. Ils ne toucheraient au grand jamais au lait, au fromage ou au beurre des autres buffles qui ne pouvaient pas être leurs nourrices sacrées.
Jamais les Todas ne mangeaient de viande ; ils ne semaient, ni ne moissonnaient jamais, considérant comme travail inférieur toute occupation autre que la traite des buffles et la garde des troupeaux. Durant 7000 ans, dans les Montagnes Bleues, les Todas ont vécu invariablement le même genre de vie sans avoir changé le moindre iota dans leur existence depuis qu'ils ont quitté leur Terre Mère...... Le continent perdu de M??.

Enfer
Les marelles de ma jeunesse comportaient la terre (le départ), le paradis (l'arrivée) et surtout l'enfer, qui était représenté par une case arrondie intégrée à la base du paradis.
Quand tu lançais ton galet pour atteindre le ciel et qu'il s'arrêtait maladroitement sur l'enfer, ta punition était le retour sur terre, à la case départ, et tu devais tout recommencer pour tenter de rejoindre le paradis.
Les cours de récréation de notre belle république laïque étaient ainsi sournoisement perverties par de puissants concepts religieux?
